3-AMINOPROPYLTRIMETHOXYSILANE

PROSILANE™ SC-1110

Product Description

3-Aminopropyl Trimethoxysilane is an organosilane compound with an amino-functional group and a trimethoxysilane moiety. It is widely used as a coupling agent to improve adhesion between organic polymers and inorganic surfaces like glass, metals, and fillers. It also serves as a crosslinking agent in polymer systems. SC-1110 is especially recommended for thermoplastic and thermosetting resins such as epoxy, PBT, PP, polyurethane, nylon etc. The silane can improve reinforced plastic's physical properties such as flexural strength, compression strength and shear strength, and can also improve composites electrical properties. SC-1110 can be used as an adhesion promoter in RTV silicones and other hybrid sealants. SC-1110 can be used as excellent adhesion promoter in SPUR technology, particularly for difficult substrates such as ABC, PVC and polystyrene. SC-1110 is a useful component in primer systems for hybrid and polyurethane sealants.
