It’s been a 25-year journey in the silicone and silanes business for me. Starting in a small, family-run
silicone business I was groomed for inside sales and then gradually grew into the role of Sales Manager.
This is really where I discovered my love of interacting and working with customers to offer them quality
solutions to their specific requests and requirements. It was also around that time when an opportunity
arose to become an independent representative of Shin-Etsu Silicones of America. Though it took guts to
step out on my own, I felt ready for a new challenge and Silsource was born.
The last 14 years have brought with them many changes and a variety of wonderful staff members as well.
I’ve been surprised at how easily transitioning to a team has been and just how rewarding our
accomplishments are when we reach them together. Similarly, it has been a great joy and privilege to
support and give back to our some of our partners in meaningful ways. We are always striving to learn,
share, and serve others. Looking back, it’s exciting to see the growth and how everything
has unfolded.

when I think of working here at Silsource… This is a space where there is passion and there is great
respect. It doesn’t seem the typical place where you would think to find these characteristics, does
it? But here we are learning about different chemicals, silicones, silanes, and applications – what
people need and what super-neat ideas clients have for their range of use - and when you peel it all
away, there is excitement and passion! And I can quite happily say, when this is true, there comes a
yearning for learning, great conversations with customers, and a desire to see and do more.
Each staff member here seems to share this enthusiasm and I find it unusually wonderful and
refreshing.
The respect piece is easier to explain I think because when you meet the team who work
here, it’s obvious we have a great bunch. This job is still mostly new to me, but I feel as though
I’ve known this group for a long time, and it’s been incredibly easy to connect with such an honest,
caring, and heartfelt bunch. Mostly, what I think it boils down to, is a desire to serve others and
do it in the best way we can. We’re all so different but from the top down, there is respect and

How long is the product guarantee?
In the unopened original container and stored per the product specification, most products have a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
What's the packing of the sample?
The sample can be supplied in various sizes depending on your requirement. It ranges from 100ml to 25kg pails to 200kg drums.
What's the packing of the product?
Liquid products like silanes and silicone fluids are supplied in various sizes. It range from 18L plastic pail, 200L steel drum or 1000L IBC tote. 20'ft container can load 80 x 210L steel drums with pallets, or 18 x 1000L IBC totes. Solid Silicone Rubbers are supplied in 20Kg or 500Kg carton box. 20'ft container can load 800 x 20Kg carton box with pallets, or 34 x 500Kg carton box with pallets. Fumed silica is supplied in a 10Kg bag, 40'ft HQ can load 4000Kgs with pallets. Please check with our sales team either online or via sales@silsoure.com.
How can I get a free sample for test?
If the product is not dangerous cargo, we can ship a free samples by FedEx, freight collect. If the product is dangerous goods, we will label according to DG regulation and arrange the transportation by air cargo
How long is the delivery time?
This depends on order quantity, our stock on hand and manufacturing lead-time. If we have the stock in our warehouse we typically provide a 48hrs lead-time after receiving PO. If we do not have the product in stock, manufacturing lead-time is typically 3-4 months.
Where do I find the current TDS?
Individual TDS documents are available on the product pages for download. If a TDS is not listed, or additional product information is required please contact our sales staff either online or via sales@silsoure.com.
I can't find the SDS. I need in a different language or version. How do I get it?
SDS is available in English. They can be updated according to specific customer needs. Please contact our sales staff either online or via sales@silsoure.com.
How do I get a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
If you require an example Certificate of Analysis (COA), please contact our sales staff either online or via sales@silsoure.com. Otherwise, a COA will accompany your order. It can also be obtained by telling the batch number on the label.
Do you have distribution partners in other countries?
No, we sell and distribute our own products.
Is my product REACH registered?
Some of our products are REACH registered, others not. Please check with our sales team either online or via sales@silsoure.com.
How do I obtain information on my product shipment?
Our Operations team will keep in constant contact with you from receipt of your PO. They will send Sales Order Confirmation and then arrange shipments and delivery with your team.
