3-UREIDOPROPYLTRIMETHOXYSILANE

PROSILANE™ SC-2510

Product Description

3-Ureidopropyltrimethoxysilane is a ureido-functional organosilane. Its structure features a reactive ureido group and hydrolyzable methoxy groups attached to a silicon atom. This bifunctional nature allows it to bond organic polymers to inorganic surfaces, making it a versatile coupling agent and adhesion promoter. It hydrolyzes in moisture to form silanol groups, which can bond to hydroxylated substrates such as glass, ceramics, and metals.
