Product Description
3-Methacryloxypropyltriethoxysilane is a functional silane coupling agent with methacrylate and triethoxysilane groups. It is used to improve the bonding between organic polymers and inorganic surfaces. It plays a crucial role in adhesion promotion, surface treatment, and polymer modification. SC-4200 is mainly used in unsaturated polyester composite material to improve the wet mechanical and electric property of glass fiber reinforced composite material. In the wire and cable industry, when used to treat an EPDM system, (with pottery clay and crosslinked by peroxide). SC-4200 can improve rate of use and specific inductance and capacitance values. Polymers, polymerized by SC-4200 and vinyl acetate and acrylic acid or methyl acrylic acid monomer, are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealing agents providing excellent adhesion and durability.
